COOKIES & VIDEO CHOICES
Cookie & video policy
Effective and updated: 20 October 2026 · v2026-10-20
Optional YouTube players are off by default. Refusal does not affect reading or inquiries. Allow once or remember an allow/refuse choice; withdraw through any footer.
1. Cookies and device storage
Cookies are small records stored by a browser and sent to the relevant website. Local storage stays in that browser; this site does not automatically send video choices to its server. Applicable ePrivacy rules also cover other device access. Necessary technical functions and optional video are handled separately.
2. Storage inventory
| Name / provider | Purpose & category | Duration & conditions |
|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID weoperastudio.com | Necessary first-party session cookie: form validation, preventing forged/repeated submissions and showing results; no advertising. Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax on HTTPS. | Set on the contact page; normally removed when the browser session ends. Session restoration may extend retention. |
| weopera_video_choice localStorage · weoperastudio.com | Necessary choice record: explicit allowance/refusal, choice time, expiry and policy version only; no visitor identifier. | Written only by “Allow & remember” or “Refuse / withdraw”; up to 182 days (about 6 months), then off on expiry or version change. Allow once writes no record. |
| YouTube / Google youtube-nocookie.com | Optional third-party video. Players and interactions may use Google cookies, device storage or identifiers for playback, security and processing in Google’s policy; not necessary site cookies. | YouTube and its playback service domains connect only after permission and video selection. Names and lifetimes vary with device, sign-in and interaction and may be session or persistent; see Google’s current information and actual browser records. |
Language uses header links and the URL; no new lang cookie is created and an old one is expired when received. We deploy no separate analytics or advertising cookies. The inventory covers public features; administration sessions are restricted to administrators.
3. Allow, refuse and withdraw
- Default off: covers are hosted here, without a YouTube player. Scrolling, continued browsing or closing the dialog is not consent.
- Information before play: without valid permission, an explanation appears first. Refuse, allow that playback once, or allow and remember up to 182 days. Remembered permission still requires a video click; no automatic loading on other pages.
- Withdraw any time: “Cookie & video settings” in the footer lets you refuse/withdraw, immediately removing current players and notifying other open site pages in the same browser. Further playback needs new explicit permission.
- Choices apply only to this browser, device and site origin, without cross-device sync. Clearing data, private browsing or blocked storage may lose the record. Failed storage limits choices to this page; it never automatically allows video.
4. YouTube processing
We use youtube-nocookie.com privacy-enhanced mode, limiting some personalisation. Google can still receive IP, browser/device data, site origin and playback interactions, and may process outside the EEA. Allowing video is not blanket consent to all international transfers. “Watch on YouTube” leaves this site, after which YouTube manages its own cookies and data.

5. Browser controls and earlier data
Use browser settings to inspect, block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking the necessary session cookie may affect the form. Withdrawal stops subsequent player connections, but does not erase data Google already received. We cannot delete other-origin or third-party HttpOnly cookies; use browser and Google privacy controls. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
